Historique :	P. Mau, orfèvre à Angers a été reçu maître en 1726 ; le ciboire, époque Louis XV, a été restauré et redoré à Paris au 19e siècle ; avant sa restauration, le couvercle fixé à la coupe formait, en se rabattant, une patène à l'usage des fidèles qui communiaient ; au moment de la Révolution, il fut sauvé par une femme ; ensuite, il fut vendu par la fabrique au poids de l'or, au sieur Babin, marchand d'ornements d'église à Cerizay ; M. l'abbé Gabard, curé des Aubiers le racheta à Babin pour le restituer à l'église des Aubiers.
