Historique :	Cette statue en bois est traitée d'une façon très artisanale et même naïve. L'ensemble set lourd et manque d'habileté. Les mains et les pieds sont disproportionnés par rapport au corps trapu. Cependant, cete objet dénote une certaines originalité sans prétention de la part de son auteur, inconnu.

Matériaux :	bois : peint
Précision_sur la representation :	Saint Jean tient un livre épais ouvert sur la main droite et retient de la main gauche son manteau qu'il soulève sur le devant ce qui permet un plissé du vêtement. La tête est droite, le regard inspiré vers le ciel. Les couleurs sont simples et la peinture s'harmonise avec la sculpture.
