Historique :	L'ensemble et tout particulièrement les mains de la Vierge et le corps de l'Enfant sont grossièrement et lourdement exécutés. Cette statue, qui manque de grâce et de souplesse, ne peut être que l'oeuvre d'un sculpteur artisant inconnu.

Matériaux :	bois : peint
Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge, debout, est vêtue d'une robe blanche, longue, à plis verticaux, descendant jusqu'à ses pieds chaussés de lourds souliers, et d'un manteau bleu, peu plissé, dont elle retient et soulève les pans de son bras gauche. La tête est droite, recouverte d'un voile blanc, qui lui encadre le visage en cachant les cheveux et qui tombe librement sur les épaules. Le regard est fixe, sévère, non souriant. Elle retient l'Enfant, assis sur son bras gauche, de la main gauche repliée, les doigts vers le haut et dont la paume est posée sur la hanche gauche de son Fils. La main droite, posée au-dessous de la poitrine, est prête à intervenir pour le maitnenir davantage, si besoin était. L'enfant, tors et bras nus, est seulement recouvert d'un voile autour de la ceinture et sur l'abdomen. Les bras tendus en avant, la tête légèrement relevée, il regarde le ciel.
