Historique :	Cet orgue, est construit par Louis Debierre pour l’église de Montigné (Maine-et-Loire). La commande ayant été annulée, le facteur l’a placé dans la nef de l’église de Parthenay en 1882, à proximité de la chaire. En 1930, l’instrument est transféré et reconstruit dans le choeur, sous le grand vitrail central, par Georges Gloton, successeur de Louis Debierre (suppression du buffet et redisposition de l’instrument dans toute la largeur du choeur).
